Our own FUMC of La Grange has teenagers giving up some of the summer vacation time to work!!

They have come together from all over the state and they’re putting their construction skills to the test by building ramps, stairs, replacing old doors or just sprucing up the garden.

Jay Watson is the camp director with U.M. ARMY, a volunteer group made up of several Methodist churches from all over Texas.

Watson said, “This is a great opportunity for kids to come out and help the community.”
